I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable with dated but clean decor and a comfy bed. However, the lack of air conditioning was a downside. My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and disappointing experiences. The rooms were big, adequate, comfortable, and very clean, but some were smaller being at the back compared to the front ones. The staff was very helpful, which was a bonus. However, the service could have been friendlier, especially when we arrived late due to a flight delay. The location was wonderful, near everything and just off Place de la Republique square, though safety could be a concern with homeless people around. The dining options were ample, especially with croissants and pancakes, and the Dutch products were a great touch. However, the facilities in the hotel were lacking in some areas.
